The Bird Eater is a massive wall of fuzz.
That's it.

The Bird Eater takes some inspiration from vintage circuits like the Tone Bender mk3 but it is far from a clone. Transistors pushed to the brink simply destroy your signal and turn it into a raging and ragged monstrosity of fuzz. Sporting only a volume control (with the biggest knob we could find), this pedal is not about subtlety and dynamics, this is your "destroy everything" button. It does not "clean up," and you won't want it to.

WARNING: The Bird Eater is LOUD. This is the kind of thing a lot of people would say as hype, but start with the volume knob down and turn up SLOWLY. We don't want you to damage your amp, just trust me.

Being a vintage style circuit it’s recommended that you run it early in your chain, at the very least before any buffered/boss style pedals. But it's your pedal, put it wherever you want in your chain and see what happens! This pedal runs on standard 9v center pin negative DC power ONLY (any standard “boss style” pedal power adapters will work, just please don’t try and run it at 18v or center pin positive, it could/will break the pedal).

NOTE: As all NHA pedals are made by hand one at a time as ordered, this is essentially a "build slot" pre-order. Build time is approximately 1-2 weeks. Because each pedal is made to order every enclosure will be slightly different, knobs may be different, and internal parts may vary slightly (unless specifically specified). All parts are tested and measured before building and won't change the sound at all, but if you look inside your pedal it may not look exactly like the photos.
